Katie Couric deletes 106 pages of HPV vaccine injury discussion

Katie Couric invited the public to openly discuss the risks and benefits of the HPV vaccine, and there was a huge outpouring from the vaccine injured community. Without notice,

without apology, literally saying nothing, Katie removed all 106 pages of discussion from her website.

We have FOUR exhibits to show:

  1. Katie’s HPV page on the Internet Wayback machine, where you can see that even the FaceBook discussion, which was embedded into her page, has been purged.
  2. A simple search for HPV on her current website
  3. A screenshot (below) of what her HPV discussion page looked like
  4. A downloadable PDF of all 106 pages of the discussion that she deleted

Katie apologized for spending too much time focusing on vaccine-injury:

“Following the show, and in fact before it even aired, there was criticism that the program was too anti-vaccine and anti-science, and in retrospect, some of that criticism was valid. We simply spent too much time on the serious adverse events that have been reported in very rare cases following the vaccine. More emphasis should have been given to the safety and efficacy of the HPV vaccines. As someone who has spent the last 15 years relaying important medical information with the goal of improving public health, it is critical to me that people know the facts.”
